seines Lebens ledig geblieben war. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rund drei Jahrzehnte lebte er allein in dem gro\u00dfen Haus, gen\u00fcgsam und anspruchslos, verwahrte in den zahlreichen R\u00e4umen Waren aller Art und pers\u00f6nliche Dinge, auch solche, die sich sicherlich nicht mehr verkaufen lie\u00dfen, und er scheint wohl kaum je etwas weggeworfen zu haben. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div Die Wohnr\u00e4ume von Franz Pfeiffer waren f\u00fcr kaum jemanden zug\u00e4nglich. Hier entdecken Sie einen Hauch von Luxus. Denn w\u00e4hrend Badewasser normalerweise auf dem Herd erhitzt wurde, hatte Herr Pfeiffer einen Ofen im Badezimmer, der diese Aufgabe \u00fcbernahm.<br><br>Er musste mit Holz beheizt werden und verf\u00fcgte neben einem Wasserhahn auch \u00fcber einen ausladenden Duschkopf. \u00dcbrigens findet sich im Bad des Kaufhauses Pfeiffer keine der verbreiteten Zinkwannen, sondern eine echte, wei\u00df emaillierte Badewanne. Der recht schmucklose Raum konnte sogar mit einem Holzofen beheizt werden. Die Kunden trafen auf eine aufwendig gestaltete Theke und Kabinen, in denen sie sich zur Anprobe umziehen konnten. Auch die zeittypischen Tapeten vermitteln den gehobenen Anspruch der Betreiber. Geplant war, dass hier Kleidung produziert wird. \u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2028Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde noch \u00c4nderungen ausgef\u00fchrt, bis der Betrieb irgendwann einschlief.
